Colorado-based restaurant Golden Flame Hot Wings will open its first location outside of the state in the former BurgerFi on Rojay Drive. Free Trash Disposal Day is Saturday, Oct 14., allowing Lexingtonians to throw out nonhazardous materials including bagged waste, small furniture like chairs + tables, as well as mattresses and box springs. If you would like to dispose of outdoor materials (think: grills and outdoor furniture), there will be a cost.

Yesterday, UK researchers unveiled two scrolls from 79 CE, found buried in the ancient town Herculaneum (modern day Campania) in Italy. Although too fragile to unroll, researchers hope that new technology will help decipher + restore the hidden texts.
