Avoid ladders and keep the umbrellas outside, because it’s officially Friday the 13th. While the day may get a bad rap, we decided to concoct a list all of the spooky happenings in Lexington — not Camp Crystal Lake.

Flash tattoos | Wildwood Flower Tattoo, 1474 Anniston Dr.
A true tradition, choose some ink from dozens of spooky, one-of-a-kind designs curated by Wildwood Flower’s talented tattoo artists. Prices range from $80 to $250 and only walk-ins are accepted.

Friday the 13th | Street Scene, 2575 Regency Rd.
Grab the coven for a night of tarot readings, aura portraits, specialty coffee + tea drinks from Coffee Times, and shopping through this store’s exclusive vintage goods.

Freaky Flicks | Moondance Amphitheatre, 1152 Monarch St.
Pack a picnic and bring the kids for a costume contest + Monster Mash dance party. Then as day fades to night, enjoy an outdoor showing of “Casper.”
