Fayette County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday the activation of the Winter Care Program. Call 859-252-1771 and ask for “Winter Care” services, including:
Safe transportation to + from work for healthcare workers
Assistance picking up prescription medication
Wellness checks
Transportation to shelters
Coat + blanket distribution
Protecting people
The Office of Homelessness Prevention and Intervention’s 2024-25 Winter Weather Plan includes detailed information on overnight shelters, daytime warming centers, and transportation. Services are available for youth, adults, and families in the Lexington area.
