ONE Lexington , an initiative created by city government that’s focused on preventing violence throughout the community, has awarded 15 nonprofits with a $100,000 grant that the organizations will split.
Established in 2017, ONE Lexington brings together local nonprofits, leaders, schools, and the government to take “a public health approach to violence prevention,” the government website reads.
The nonprofits will be able to use the grant money to expand opportunities for Lexington’s youth and young adults, ensuring they can access necessary resources to better their future. Let’s meet the organizations:
