Did you know May is National Water Safety Month?

Lexingtonians have a unique opportunity to help keep our community safe while having the most fun this summer. How? They can take the Y’s Water Watcher Pledge.

As pool operators and the nation’s leader in swim lessons for 100+ years, the Y aims to equip individuals of all ages and backgrounds with the necessary lifelong tools to be confident + safe in and around water. Water Watchers are adults who take a pledge to actively watch children in or near a body of water and help in an emergency.

Take the pledge now through Friday, May 31. Bonus: Two winners will be chosen randomly to win a swim lesson session at the Y.

As a Water Watcher, Lexingtonians can help the Y make this a fun and safe summer. Become a Water Watcher.
