Pink houses in Lexington

It ain’t Malibu, but it’ll do.

We’re seeing pink, and it’s not because of Mattel. We found four picturesque pink houses in Lexington giving us all the Barbie vibes (after all, the movie did premiere this week).

The Pink House, 218 S. Ashland Ave.

This Chevy Chase stunner hit the market for the first time in 30+ years, but a sale is already pending. We still can’t help but daydream about this 19th century home.

Why Barbie would love it:

  • 4 BD | 3 BA | 3,894 sqft
  • Original hardwoods + soaring ceilings
  • Wrap-around porch
  • French doors leading to the light-filled kitchen
  • Spacious backyard with large stone patio

The Pink House on Market, 220 Market St.

It’s hard to open your Instagram feed without seeing a local influencer posing in front of these iconic Gratz Park houses. Fun fact: The pink one was built in the early 1800s + the current owners, who bought the house in 2000, have committed to keeping it that precious pop of pink.

Why Barbie would love it:

  • The ideal spot for those Instagrammable moments
  • Just a couple of blocks away from dozens of downtown attractions
  • Gratz Park is the perfect place for a picnic

The Grand Pink Bungalow, Downtown Lexington

This is the ultimate girlie getaway in the heart of downtown Lexington, perfect for a staycation or bachelorette party.

Why Barbie would love it:

  • 3 BD | 1 BA | ~$150/night
  • Fun wallpaper + pops of color throughout
  • Walking distance to local breweries and restaurants
  • Unique private primary bedroom upstairs

301 Wilson Downing Rd.

Now this is a house we can’t forget to mention. Lifelong Lexingtonian + reader Roseanne M. shared with us that at one point, the iconically pink house was change to beige. “Then eventually they changed it back too pink,” she said. “It started out as light pink, and then the older the owner got, the darker the pink became.”

Why Barbie would love it:

  • 3 BD | 3 BA | 1,326 sqft
  • It’s proximity to great shopping + restaurants
  • The fence will keep her safe while persuing her hobbies
