Calling all tree lovers + foliage followers. Around this time last year, we shared with you the hidden gem that is Catalpa Road in the fall.

Community members from around the city flock to this Chevy Chase street to see the golden tunnel of the Gingko trees. Well, today we’re reminding you — now is the time to go visit. The leaves are falling but there are still plenty on the trees.

But, visitors beware. It’s a stinky one out there as the bulbs from the female Gingko trees give off a pungent aroma + have already fallen.

Pro tip: The big drop happens at the first frost, so keep an eye on the weather. 👀
