Don’t get so full that you can’t go bowling or play a game of ping-pong after you eat.

It was the best of times. It was the (brat)wurst of times.

If you haven’t been to German-isch yet, there’s no better time than now. The German-inspired eatery, located in the District 7 Social Hall, just launched a new menu, including:

  • Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich: Fried chicken sandwich with arugula, house slaw, and a mustard Munster cheese sauce, all on crunchy sourdough
  • Pierogies Plate: Pasta-like dough pockets stuffed with cheddar mashed potatoes, and served with crema and sauteed onions
  • Schnitzel Entree: Traditional veal schnitzel with cucumber salad, potato pancakes + mushroom gravy
  • Doner Kebabs: Turkish goes German, with roasted lamb, piled high with salad greens, tomato and red onion, all tossed in house garlic sauce and piled into warm flatbread

Pro tip: Don’t skip out on District 7 just because German cuisine isn’t your thing — it has all the food options, including Sweet Iron opening next month.*
