A new live morning show is giving Lexington the low down on all of its secret hidden gems.

“Live From Chevy Chase” will be hosted by Tamara Schneider and Leigh Jordan, the duo behind the lifestyle blog Kentucky Taste Buds.

The show — premiering Monday, March 27 at 9 a.m. — gets its namesake from the iconic FOX 56 studio located in the heart of Chevy Chase.

Since launching the blog in 2017, the childhood friends have also hosted the podcast “Brunch with the Buds” that was featured on KISS96.9FM until January 2023, when they accepted the offer for the new morning show.

Despite moving around different mediums, the pair still share one main goal: to create “a show by women and for women ... focused on all aspects of life here in Central Kentucky,” the duo told us.
