It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s the YMCA mini bus.
The YMCA of Central Kentucky has launched a new program called Y on the Move, through which staff and volunteers will be able to provide food and services in the community via the new mini bus.
Services will include:
- Educational enrichment
- Wellness classes
- Physical wellbeing activities
- Games for children
- Free wi-fi access
Y on the Move will debut next week at the Partners For Youth
‘s spring break Adopt a Park events. The afternoons will feature games, music, STEAM activities, and healthy snacks.
- Monday, April 3, 1-4 p.m. at Valley Park, 2077 Cambridge Dr.
- Wednesday, April 5, 1-4 p.m. at Douglass Park, 726 Georgetown St.
