Did you know May is National Water Safety Month?

Lexingtonians have a unique opportunity to help keep our community safe while having the most fun this summer. How? They can take the Y’s Water Watcher Pledge .

As pool operators and the nation’s leader in swim lessons for 100+ years, the Y aims to equip individuals of all ages and backgrounds with the necessary lifelong tools to be confident + safe in and around water . Water Watchers are adults who take a pledge to actively watch children in or near a body of water and help in an emergency.

Take the pledge now through Friday, May 31. Bonus: Two winners will be chosen randomly to win a swim lesson session at the Y.

As a Water Watcher, Lexingtonians can help the Y make this a fun and safe summer. Become a Water Watcher .
