We’ve been talking about the Baptist Health Hamburg campus for nearly two years now, and the time has finally come. The $235-million outpatient medical center will officially open its doors to patients at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 22.

But before that, the public is invited to get a firsthand look of the state-of-the-art facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fun fact: Did you know Baptist Health originally acquired the land in 2009?

Located at 3000 Baptist Health Blvd., the space has separate entrances for its three main care areas —

  • Cancer
  • Surgery
  • ER

The multidisciplanary Cancer Center will offer personalized care with the help of nurses, therapists, and dietitians, as well as individual chemotherapy stations overlooking the growing healing garden. Other services available this location include —

  • Cardiology
  • Orthopedics + physical therapy
  • Breast imaging
  • Blood work + labs
  • Radiology and imaging
  • Pharmacy and more
