Have you watched “Home Alone” this season? We can all agree that the “Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal” line is among the movie’s most iconic moments.

We recently learned from The Lexington Podcast that Ralph Foodywho plays the gangster who delivers that line — lived in Lexington. You can even visit his grave downtown in the Lexington Cemetery.

Foody is also known for his roles in “The Blues Brothers” and “Code of Silence.” Apparently, on the set of Home Alone, he was referred to as “The Witster” for his keen wit.
