Game on. Lexington ranked No. 106 out of 392 on WalletHub’s list of best sports cities in the US.

To create the rankings, WalletHub used a methodology that combined and weighted the results from its previous studies on best cities for fans of football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and hockey. The cities were examined, using data from ESPN, the US Census Bureau, Forbes, NCAA, Sports Business Journal, and more. City population was also considered.

Here’s how Lexington stacked up for each sport:

  • Football: No. 178
  • Baseball: No. 31
  • Basketball: No. 316
  • Soccer: No. 136
  • Hockey: No. 450
