Counter Clocks opening weekend

The Lexington, KY minor league baseball team opens another season but this time with a new name, look, and amenities for fans.

A new era of baseball begins in the Bluegrass as the Lexington Counter Clocks take the field for the first time ever this Friday, April 28.

Schedule

The Clocks will play 126 games this season — 63 at Counter Clocks Field.

Theme nights

Throughout the season, there will be various themed nights + nightly promotions . And despite not being listed — dog parents can rest assured that Bark in the Park is back every Thursday night.

Tickets

Fans will notice some new seating options this season.

  • Lounge — Includes two hours of an all-you-can-eat buffet + a cash bar, $65 each
  • On-Field Seating — Must be purchased as a set of four seats, $25 each
  • Stable Table — Must be purchased as a set of four seats, $20 each
  • Seating behind the new netting — Starts at $14 each
  • General admission — $10 each

New additions

One addition to the Counter Clocks organization is actually an instrumental + familiar face to the minor league baseball scene, Alan Stein . Alan joins the Counter Clocks as a special adviser, eager to support the new owners. “We’ve got a new mantra here in the office, and it’s three words — credibility, integrity, and aspiration,” he said.

  • Credibility | “We want the public to know that what we say, is what we’re going to do. They can trust us.”
  • Integrity | “We’re gonna do everything with integrity by telling the truth + being completely honest with our fans.”
  • Aspiration | “We’re going to aspire to get back to what the fans in Lexington remembered.”

Alan added that this season will be one of growth + a work in progress, but they are committed to making it the best fan experience possible.
